Questions such as \u201cdo I have PTSD?\u201d \u201cWhy can\u2019t I control my anxiety?\u201d \u201cIs this depression or something else?\u201d Sometimes the concern is less clear, but you feel like something is \u201coff\u201d or wrong. At times, adults request a re-evaluation of symptoms or concerns when they feel previous diagnoses do not fit. All adult evaluations begins with the initial interview to determine how I can best answer your questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My goals when providing an evaluation for an adult are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Determine YOUR questions and concerns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider the history and current presentation of your symptoms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an accurate diagnosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare individualized treatment recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Document your diagnosis for you to obtain access to treatment such as therapy or medication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You are the expert on your own life and your own needs.
